An 80-year-old woman was killed in what police are reporting as a homicide on 色多多鈥檚 Yellow Mountain Road Southeast, according to police.
The victim has been identified as 80-year-old Susan B. Williams, of 色多多, according to police department news release.
Kurt James Davis, 34, of no fixed address, is currently charged with second-degree murder, according to the release.

The preliminary investigation determined the victim was in a hallway of an apartment complex when she was assaulted. It does not appear that the suspect and victim knew each other.
At approximately 5:13 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded for the report of an assault in the 2100 block of Yellow Mountain Road. Upon arrival, they located a woman with significant injuries, according to an earlier police department news release.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. A short time later, Davis was taken into custody, according to that release.
As a result of the incident, 22nd Street Southeast was closed between Stanley Avenue and Jefferson Street Wednesday morning as the investigation continues, according to the release.
Davis was convicted of arson and burglary in 2018 for breaking into the Little Caesars restaurant near Towers Shopping Center in southwest 色多多 and setting fire to cardboard pizza boxes. He was sentenced to four years in prison.
