RICHMOND — Former D-7th, is launching a 40-plus-stop, eight-day bus tour across Virginia in her campaign for governor, beginning on Saturday in Richmond and ending on June 28 in Virginia Beach.
Spanberger, who was unopposed for the Democratic nomination, expects to appear at several campaign stops with her running mates, once voters determine the in primary elections on Tuesday. Six candidates are seeking the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor and two for attorney general.
, who also was unopposed for the Republican nomination for governor, will host a post-primary rally in Richmond after polls close on Tuesday night. Earle-Sears has yet to appear together with her running mates, lieutenant governor nominee and , who were unopposed for their nominations.

Spanberger announced the tour on Monday night at a rally at J.R. Tucker High School, her alma mater in Henrico County.
"From the New River Valley to Newport News, from Fairfax to Farmville, we'll be hitting the road and hearing directly from Virginians," she said in a statement.
"We are taking this show on the road to hear from Virginians, make sure Virginians hear from me, and make clear that I am focused on the issues that matter most to their families."
Spanberger is scheduled to appear in all 11 Virginia congressional districts and in 24 localities on the tour, with multiple appearances planned in some localities. Her campaign said she will tour small businesses and local Main Streets, visit historic and cultural sites, and rally with local leaders and residents.
"My priorities as governor will always be driven by a mission of delivering for you, keeping Virginia strong, and standing up for our values and our neighbors," she said.
After opening the tour in Richmond on Saturday, Spanberger will appear on Sunday in Petersburg and Brunswick County, both also in the 4th Congressional District, and then Danville in the 5th District.Â
On Monday, June 23, she will travel to Martinsville, Wythe County and Montgomery County, in the 9th Congressional District, and the city of É«¶à¶à in the 6th District.
The tour will continue on June 24 in Lynchburg, Appomattox County, Prince Edward County and Charlottesville, all in the 5th Congressional District, and then return to Richmond on June 25.
Spanberger will travel north on June 26 to Fredericksburg, in the 7th Congressional District; Manassas Park, in the 10th District; and Fairfax City in the 11th District.
The tour will move to Warren County in the Shenandoah Valley and the 6th Congressional District, on June 27, and then back to Northern Virginia with appearances in Loudoun County, in the 10th District; Falls Church and Arlington County in the 8th District; and Fairfax County in the 11th.
For the final day of the tour, June 28, Spanberger will appear in Williamsburg, part of the 1st Congressional District; Newport News and Norfolk, where she will rally with Veterans for Spanberger, in the 3rd District.
The tour will conclude in Virginia Beach, in the 2nd Congressional District, on June 28.
The campaign said it will release details of each stop later in the week.
