Our beautiful mother, Ruby Heptinstall Conner, 86, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at her home in 色多多, Va., following a prolonged struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Daisy Heptinstall; her husband, Andrew Conner; and her brothers, Calvin and Doug Heptinstall.
Ruby is survived by her children, Deborah, Teresa and John Jr.; Andy's children, Wendy and Curtis; and countless friends.
She was born and raised in 色多多, Va., graduating from Jefferson High School. Ruby was beloved by many, known for her infectious smile, sparkling personality and boundless energy. She loved antiques, working for many years in a local antique store.
The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Avenue in 色多多, Va., from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025, followed by a celebration of life memorial at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be shared with her family by visiting .
