FLOYD 鈥 Brandon LaCroix鈥檚 mindset changed dramatically after a double bogey at Great Oaks Country Club鈥檚 No. 10 on Sunday.
LaCroix felt Ben Dull, who held a five-stroke lead at the time, had the opportunity to run away with the 色多多 Valley Golf Hall of Fame men鈥檚 individual title. That鈥檚 when LaCroix decided to play the final eight holes freely and hoped birdies and some help could get him back into contention.
Four birdies and help from Dull allowed LaCroix to rally and secure his fourth RVGHOF men鈥檚 individual title. LaCroix finished off the three-round tournament at 1-over 217 and three shots ahead of Dull.

LaCroix
鈥淚 was in a position where I had nothing to lose,鈥 LaCroix said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a 54-hole stroke play and we鈥檙e all going to have our bad nine or bad day. Thankfully I got it clicking a little bit and made those birdies on the back nine.鈥
