Two days after a 色多多 woman was reported missing, police arrested a suspect Wednesday and charged him with second-degree murder.
The body of Meagan Ashley Martin, 40, was found Tuesday outside of her home in the 1400 block of Downing Street Northwest.
An arrest warrant was issued for Joshua Robert Presley, 45, of 色多多, who was taken into custody after a brief manhunt.
鈥淭he investigation determined that Mr. Presley and Ms. Martin were involved romantically,鈥 the 色多多 Police Department said in a news release.

Martin reportedly last spoke to family members Saturday. After receiving a missing person report two days later, police said they were searching for the woman, whom they described at the time as 鈥渆ndangered.鈥

Police visited Martin鈥檚 home Monday, but no one answered the door. At that time, authorities did not have enough evidence to enter and search the property.
At about 11 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called back to the home for a report of suspicious items found, police said. Based on evidence collected at the scene, they obtained a warrant and searched the home, which is just a block from the intersection of Orange Avenue and Interstate 581.
Martin鈥檚 body, with signs of trauma, was found outside the house, police said. The Medical Examiner鈥檚 Office was working Wednesday to determine her cause of death.
