ROCKY MOUNT 鈥 More than 400 Franklin County graduates received their diplomas Friday night at the 75th Commencement Exercises at Cy Dillon Stadium.
After introducing the distinguished honor graduates (4.0 GPA and higher) and honor graduates, first year principal Reyhan Deskins shared an interesting tidbit with graduates, and their friends and family members who filled both the visitor and home sections of the stadium.

鈥淟adies and gentlemen, we have just recognized the fact that 301 out of a graduating class of 419 have maintained over a 3.0 grade point average for their entire time at Franklin County High School and we are extremely impressed,鈥 he said.
