Wasena bridge is coming down

Deconstruction began last month on É«¶à¶à’s Wasena Bridge which is over 80 years old. The bridge which goes over the É«¶à¶à River and Norfolk Southern rail lines and connects Old Southwest and Wasena neighborhoods, is scheduled to be closed until spring 2026. Replacement construction will begin before the end of the month, according to builders.
