Virginia Tech has prioritized offensive line depth in filling out its 2026 recruiting class.
The Hokies landed their top interior offensive line target Saturday afternoon.
St. John鈥檚 College High School rising senior Adrian Hamilton announced his commitment to Virginia Tech in a social media post.

He is the fourth offensive lineman and ninth overall player to commit to the Hokies in the 2026 recruiting class.
Hamilton chose Virginia Tech over finalists Virginia and Michigan State. Eight of his 25 reported offers came from ACC programs: Tech, UVa, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Duke and Stanford.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Hamilton is the top-rated offensive lineman and the No. 5-rated player from Washington, D.C., in the 2026 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
He was an All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference second-team selection on the offensive line as a junior.
Hamilton received a scholarship offer from Virginia Tech on Feb. 26, 2024, with Hokies area recruiter, running backs coach Elijah Brooks, extending the offer.
Brooks and Hokies coach Brent Pry visited Hamilton at St. John鈥檚 College High on Jan. 31. Hamilton and his family visited Blacksburg on March 23, and he was able to meet with new offensive line coach Matt Moore during the trip.
Hamilton鈥檚 official visit to Tech came on June 20-22 during the final recruiting weekend of the summer.
He joins Thomas Wilder, Tyrell Simpson and Buddy Wegdam as the offensive linemen who have committed in the class. Wilder, a four-star prospect from Green Run High, announced his commitment on Thursday, while Wegdam and Simpson pledged to the Hokies in June.
If the Hokies are able to sign the four committed offensive linemen in December, those four signings would nearly match the five offensive line signees out of high school over the previous two recruiting cycles (three in 2024 and two in 2025).
